Eli Snyder is a writer & director based in LA. Raised in a family of filmmakers, he began his career as a child actor before transitioning behind the camera. He studied film and played football at UCLA, where he directed his award-winning thesis short Interlude, and later earned his MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute.

His AFI thesis film Aves received the Richard P. Rogers Spirit of Excellence Award and was recognized with jury prizes at Flickers’ Rhode Island, Columbus International, and the San Francisco Festival of Shorts. In 2023, he was selected for both the SHOOT New Directors Showcase and the CAA Möebius Showcase.

More recently, Eli served as second unit director on Netflix’s Rebel Moon Parts 1 and 2, and directed commercial campaigns for brands such as G Fuel and Liquid Death. His work has garnered millions of views across social platforms and has been featured in Adweek, The Drum, Muse by Clio, and Ad Age.
